A wide range of post-degree research and clinical training fellowships is awarded annually to motivated young researchers, clinicians, nurses and other MS-related professionals to help advance their knowledge, expertise and technical capabilities. Ectrims Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Exchange Programme
ECTRIMS offers a postdoctoral research fellowship exchange programme for young neuroscientists to facilitate their conduct of and training in basic, clinical or applied research related to multiple sclerosis (MS). The goal of the programme is to maximize exchange of information and to help grow the pool of well-trained research scientists focused on problems in MS. Initially, it is anticipated that several fellowships will be awarded each year.

Ectrims-Magnims Fellowship In Magnetic Resonance Imaging In Ms
The European MAGNIMS network (Magnetic Resonance Imaging in MS) and ECTRIMS jointly support research fellowships for young European researchers in the application of magnetic resonance studies to MS.

Ectrims Multiple Sclerosis Clinical Training Fellowship Programme
ECTRIMS offers a Clinical Training Fellowship Programme for neurologists and other physicians to provide the opportunity for successful candidates to learn the latest techniques in patient management and care and to help foster their careers as MS physicians. The training period must be under the direction of a senior clinical mentor at a European MS clinic and/or research center and can run for 3 months, 6 months or 1 year in duration. It is anticipated that several fellowships will be awarded each year, with additional fellowship possible depending on ECTRIMS financing and the qualifications of candidates.

MSIF-ECTRIMS McDonald Fellowship
Starting in 2016, MSIF (Multiple Sclerosis International Federation) and ECTRIMS jointly support a 2-year McDonald fellowship every year. This fellowship is offered to young researchers from emerging countries and enables the recipient to travel to an established research institution anywhere in the world to work with leading researchers in the field of MS. It is intended that these fellows return to their home countries after finishing the fellowship program to establish their own research using the newly learned techniques.

Ectrims Multiple Sclerosis Professional Training Fellowship Programme For Nurses, Psychologists, Physiotherapists And Related Allied Health Care Professionals
ECTRIMS offers Multiple Sclerosis Professional Training Fellowship Programme for Nurses, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, and related Allied Health Care Professionals for qualified individuals, to provide the opportunity for them to obtain or expand their expertise related to multiple sclerosis care and research through practical experience and training in a mentored MS environment in Europe. Our aim is to enhance care and support of individuals with MS by fostering improved clinical care and education and by helping to promote best practices in MS care throughout Europe. Mentored training will be available for outstanding candidates with either no MS experience, or those with prior MS experience who wish to enhance their professional capabilities. Training must be under the direction and mentorship of a senior MS specialist, in association with a senior MS clinician where appropriate, at a European clinical site with significant expertise in MS.
