Press Conference | Press Room
A press conference will be held on Tuesday 25 October at 17:15–18:00 in Meeting Room E108 at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre, where ECTRIMS 2022 will take place. A recording of the event will be made available following the conference for those media representatives unable to attend.

Overall Regulations
Any media outlet or press representative (journalists, reporters, photographers, etc.) wishing to attend ECTRIMS 2022 must adhere to the ECTRIMS Media and Embargo Policy. Individuals and/or sponsors who violate these ECTRIMS 2022 media embargo policies may face sanctions relating to current and future abstract submissions, presentations and visibility at ECTRIMS Congresses.
ECTRIMS and/or affiliated trademarks and logos are the property of the ECTRIMS. They cannot be used, reproduced or associated with any article or press release without the prior written permission of ECTRIMS. ECTRIMS does not make its press database or registration lists available to third parties.
Accreditation, Registration and Access
Accredited journalists are welcome to cover ECTRIMS 2022. In order to receive a press badge, media representatives are invited to register online or onsite upon presentation of credentials (valid press card or letter of assignment).
Members of the press may attend the congress lectures on a complimentary basis. Press registration is free and includes the following services: Access to the hybrid congress including scientific sessions, exhibition and press material.
Embargo Policy of ECTRIMS 2022
Embargoed materials as well as results and information related to sessions at any meeting or event organised by ECTRIMS, are strictly confidential and cannot be disclosed in any manner or for any purpose prior to the lifting of the embargo by ECTRIMS.
Regular Abstracts: all abstracts accepted for ECTRIMS 2022 will be published on the congress website and in press releases as of 12 October 2022 (14 days prior to the congress as from 08.00 CEST). Coverage of abstract data in satellite symposia or in press releases at the congress is permitted. However, additional data yet to be presented cannot be included.
Late-Breaking Abstracts: will be published in the abstract book and are available on the congress website on the first day of the congress (26 October 2022 as from 08.00 CEST). Also coverage in satellite symposia or in press releases is permitted as of the first day of the congress. However, additional data yet to be presented cannot be included.
Top line data: Journalists or sponsors who wish to issue press releases that contain no actual data related to the presentation but provide “top line” information for release in advance of the normal embargo date need the specific approval of the ECTRIMS Executive Committee, who may require changes in the text before permitting release. Posters and Presentations: Posters will be available as ePosters as from the start of the congress. The embargo for oral presentation lifts at the start of the session.

Permission is needed for filming, taking photographs or making audio recording in the following areas:
- Scientific sessions
- Industry-organised satellite sessions
- Poster Area
- Registration area
Filming in any other part of the Congress Centre is strictly prohibited.
Any film/photo/recording shall only be used for information and communication purposes and must mention the source of the material.
Artificial light cannot be used during presentations. Flash photography at scientific presentations and plenary sessions is not allowed. ECTRIMS 2022 may interrupt any disruptive or hazardous filming.
